all these things 059

Sean drew me this snowman Christmas card in 2008. It is amazing to look at it right now and realize that was 6 years ago. I began writing him letters in 2007 and I have another drawing he made me that same year, it’s a palm tree at sunset. These early works are a reminder of how long we have been friends. How long Sean has been working and improving his artistic talent, I can really see it in his drawings. But it’s also a reminder of how long this innocent young guy has been locked away. How many holiday seasons he has missed out on. Away from family and friends, away from the natural beauty of the place he once called home.

About Sean & Eiam

Sean O'Brien was wrongfully convicted in adult court in El Dorado County, California and sentenced to Life Without Parole at the age of 16 without a shred of physical evidence tying him to the crime for which he was convicted. Sean and I have been friends since grade school and we were married in 2017. We live and grow together in love with the knowledge of his innocence, our faith, and hope for our future. We embrace this journey, wherever it may take us, cherishing each moment we have together and staying true to our hearts. This blog is about the past we share, our life together and our fight for justice. Thank you for reading. God bless.
