Emelia’s Christmas Gift to Sean

This year I wanted to do something unique and meaningful for Christmas to give Sean. It will be our 4th Christmas together, the 3rd one I will be spending inside the visit room on Christmas Eve & Christmas day. I am only allowed to send him pictures, letters, or books so I decided to do a special photo shoot with the chihuahua we adopted from Front Street Shelter in June. My friend Elyse Smith with Beautiful Disaster Photography took these photos and I am sending them to Sean for  Christmas.

Sean designed and drew the artwork for the ink on my wrist and the tattoo artist, Terri at Sacramento Capitol Tattoo, did an exact copy of his original design so it’s like Sean literally drew intertwining infinity symbols on my skin. It is symbolic of our love and a celebration of our shared Irish heritage.

Thank you to Elyse for working with our family to help create something that we will always treasure!

About Sean & Eiam

Sean O'Brien was wrongfully convicted in adult court in El Dorado County, California and sentenced to Life Without Parole at the age of 16 without a shred of physical evidence tying him to the crime for which he was convicted. Sean and I have been friends since grade school and we were married in 2017. We live and grow together in love with the knowledge of his innocence, our faith, and hope for our future. We embrace this journey, wherever it may take us, cherishing each moment we have together and staying true to our hearts. This blog is about the past we share, our life together and our fight for justice. Thank you for reading. God bless.
